Product Description

Transfer punches allow copying of hole sizes from a part, pattern, or template onto a workpiece. Their body diameter is selected to match the diameter of the intended hole, and they are tapped lightly to mark the hole center with their pointed tip. They are followed up with a center punch to deepen the indentation before drilling. Transfer punches are used for applications such as seating tool knobs on machinery, mounting tools to worktables, and creating jigs.
