Type 260-D – M42 Cobalt. 135˚ Split Point – M42 Cobalt – High-Speed Steel. Manufactured from M42 High Speed Steel contains 8% Cobalt increasing hot hardness. High hot hardness of cobalt permits speeds 30% over regular high-speed steel drills. Titanium Aluminum Nitride Can be used in machining stainless steel, nickel based and titanium alloys, not recommended for aluminum.
