A Hex Lag Screw, also called a lag bolt, is a full-bodied threaded bolt with a hex head, spaced threads and a gimlet point. They are used mainly in wood construction. Stainless Steel material. Grade 18-8 has the same design advantages as a low carbon bolt, however can be used in environments that require greater atmospheric corrosion resistance.
