Adjustable Clevis Pins

Adjustable clevis pins, commonly called universal clevis pins, are used to quickly fasten and unfasten multiple objects. They feature a flanged head with multiple, equally spaced holes along its shank. They are held in place by a variety of retaining pins, including cotter pins or bridge pins, which are inserted into one of the drilled holes. This versatile style of clevis pin allows them to adapt to varying effective lengths by simply moving the retaining pin to a different hole position. Once an effective length needed is determined, the excess portion may be cut off if desired or can remain for use with other sizes of applications. Adjustable clevis pins are easily installed and removed by hand requiring no special tools. They are commonly used in the agricultural and construction industries for attaching chains, implements, and hitches.
