The E71T-GS .045 33 lb Flux cored Gasless steel weld wire is a self-shielding flux-cored wire designed for single or multi pass welding having a smooth spray-type transfer commonly used on mild steels less than 3/4″ thick. It is an easy general all-position wire to use in the field where shielding gas is not practical. The wire is suitable for welding on thin materials and has low amperage for less distortion. It has very good running characteristics and DC straight polarity. The wire is open-arc, which means no shielding gas is required. It is ideal for welding steel frames, excavators, liners, structural steel members, truck bodies, sheet metal, and more. The wire spool is labeled and weighs 33 lb. The wire is easy to use and produces a smooth arc action, low spatter, full slag coverage, and easy slag removal.
