Floorboard Screws

A floorboard screw is a strong metal fastener designed to secure wooden floorboards to joists or subfloors. It usually has a sharp tip for easy insertion, deep threads for a firm grip in wood, and a flat or countersunk head so the screw sits flush with the floor surface. Floorboard screws are commonly made from steel and may be coated to resist rust and reduce squeaking in floors.
